Store Policies

We have outlined below many of our customer satisfaction policies.  We believe active communication is the cornerstone of any good relationship.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions not covered below.  It is our desire at Moore’s Home Furnishings to ensure you have the best buying experience possible.  We are located in Kerrville, Texas and service a trade radius of approximately 100 miles from our location.    We currently do not ship or deliver beyond our normal trade zone.

Delivery Service

Deliveries are available Monday through Saturday and are scheduled in 2-hour timeframes based on your location.  Delivering to a broad trade area means that we only deliver to certain zip codes on certain days and times.  We must ask that an adult be present to inspect and accept the delivery.  Please advise us of any unusual circumstances that we may encounter during delivery, ie: narrow hallways, doors, stairwells, etc.   We cannot be responsible for any damage that may result from attempting placement in hard to maneuver areas. If set-up in the designated area is not feasible, delivery will be made to an accessible area.  Delivery personnel will not be able to hang items on walls.

Warranty

We honor all Manufacturers Warranties and policies.  Please contact your Sales Associate for information on how to obtain a copy of your warranty if needed.

Free in-home warranty service is provided to the original purchaser for one year from the date of delivery, excluding all Clearance and AS IS Merchandise.  This service is for warranted defects and workmanship only.  In-home service is provided to customers living within our normal trade area.  Customers outside this area will be responsible for transport to our store for service issues.  

For items with a warranty beyond 1 year, please note that any transit fees and / or labor fees not covered by the Manufacturer’s warranty will be required to be paid in full in advance of all repairs.

Customer U-Hauls

Customer U-Hauls or pick-ups are available Monday through Saturday during our normal business hours.  Please call ahead and let us know when you plan to arrive, so that we are able to have the merchandise ready for you.  If assembly is required, please allow at least 4 hours notice for our warehouse staff to pull and properly assemble your items.  Pick up items will be left in original factory packaging and will not be inspected prior to your arrival. We recommend that you inspect your product immediately upon arriving home and call with any issues you may have.  Moore’s is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during transit.   Damage caused by unloading or moving product into your home is your liability and responsibility. 

Custom Orders

  1. Custom orders require a non-refundable 20% deposit. Once the merchandise arrives, the balance is due in full.
  2. Custom orders are not cancellable once the order is placed with the manufacturer. Should you wish to cancel once the order is placed, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund due to the customer.
  3. Time of delivery on custom orders varies by Manufacturer and all dates given are estimated according to normal shipping times. Actual delivery times may vary from this estimate.
  4. Custom order merchandise is not returnable and not eligible to be exchanged. Should items require repair, we will follow the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines.

Clearance or AS IS Merchandise

All sales on clearance and AS IS items are final and must be scheduled for delivery or pickup at time of purchase. 

Clearance merchandise is sold AS IS and should be fully inspected prior to purchasing. 

These items do not come with warranty nor are eligible for repair.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee to have the lowest prices on furniture and mattresses in Texas.  If you find a lower price at another Texas retailer on the identical item, with the same services, and the price can be verified, we will refund the price difference up to 30 days after delivery.

All returns of “in-stock” merchandise must be made within 5 days or purchase. 

Refund requests are processed within 7 days or after the check has cleared the bank.  No Cash refunds will be processed.  

Sleep Product Warranties

Sleep product manufacturer warranties are provided to ensure a quality product and are determined by each manufacturer.  Moore’s Home Furnishings makes every effort to provide prompt service on these products in accordance to each vendor’s guidelines.  Mattresses and box springs are warranted against structural defects such as wood frames, springs, and border wires breaking.  Fabrics on all sleep products are warranted for one year.  Please note:  Plush and Pillowtop bedding with multiple layers of padding will display body impressions.  This is normal and not considered a defect.  Bedding accessories, such as pillows, sheets and mattress protectors are non-returnable items. 

Please note that all sales of mattresses and foundations, including adjustable beds are non-returnable once the items are delivered to your home.  State law prohibits the resale of used bedding, therefore, accepting delivery of bedding finalizes the sale and no returns or exchanges will be allowed. Comfort warranty is offered on select beds only and all guidelines are provided by the bedding manufacturer. Any restock and/or delivery fees required by the manufacturer will be deducted from any refunds due to the customer.
